Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and that means your kids will be having parties at school! Those little paper valentines with superheroes and My Little Pony on them can be expensive, so why not make a Hugs and Kisses Valentine’s Day stamp that you can use over and over for a fraction of the price? And the best deal of all? This design is completely free!

Here’s what you’ll need:

Step One

Open up the hugs and kisses design in your Mint Studio Software. When you open your software, you need to choose what size stamp you’ll be using, so be sure to select 45 mm x 45 mm. This is the perfect size for making kids’ valentines!

Step Two

Once you’ve sized your design, click the ‘Send to Mint’ leaf icon in the upper right-hand corner. Your image will automatically be reversed so it prints the right way through the Mint. Turn your Mint on, and then hit ‘Start Mint’—you want to do this before you insert your stamp sheet!

Step Three

Once you hit ‘Start Mint,’ then you can insert your stamp sheet with the little arrow going into the Mint first, and the black rubber area facing upwards. Watch as it magically prints out your design in just seconds!

Step Four

Fold the bottom half of the stamp sheet down and pull out your stamp, making sure to carefully remove the plastic top sheet.

Step Five

Peel the protective brown paper cover from the stamp base and carefully apply your freshly minted stamp.

Step Six

Using your Mint ink, carefully apply some ink over the lines in your design. Let set for ten minutes so the ink can absorb and then stamp off the excess ink on a blank piece of paper.

Easy as pie! Once you’ve got your stamp all ready to go, all you need to do is stamp a bunch of slips of paper, sign your name, and staple to a goody bag with Valentine’s treats! You can help your child whip up a bunch of valentines for their classmates in minutes and still use the stamp for other projects later!
