I can’t help but want to keep all the artwork my little one creates. I enjoy looking at each piece and seeing how his skills are progressing. I’m so excited about this stamp because it will allow me to easily mark anything he makes and add in simple information like his age and the date.
You will need:
- Silhouette Mint™
- 15 mm x 60 mm Stamp Kit (included with the Mint)
- Mint ink (included with the Mint)
- Kids artwork
Step One: Stamp Size
The first thing you’ll want to do is select your stamp size. If you’re unsure of what size your stamp sheet is, you can easily find this information on the bottom of the stamp sheet.
Step Two: Create Your Design
Customize your stamp using any image and text you’d like. You can even thicken designs by selecting Line Style > Line Thickness.
Step Three: Mint Your Stamp
Send your design to the Mint. The steps are explained right there on Mint Studio™ so it’s easy to follow along.
Step Four: Assembling Your Stamp
Once the stamp comes out of the Mint, fold the perforated line and remove the stamp from the sheet holder.
Remove the liner from the stamp mount, revealing the adhesive. Carefully center the stamp on the sticky stamp mount. The design will appear to be flipped when you look at it.
Slide the stamp onto the base.
Step Five: Inking Your Stamp
Lay the stamp on a flat surface and add the ink. Give it between five to ten minutes to fully absorb into the stamp. After that you’ll want to stamp it onto a sheet of scrap paper to remove any excess ink.
Step Six: Label Your Stamp
Each stamp comes with two adhesive labels. Stamp your design onto one of the labels and then stick it on the lid of the stamp.
Step Seven: Stamp Onto Kids Artwork
Whenever a new piece of art is created, simply stamp onto the front or back of the paper. Fill in the little artist’s name, age, and date with a pen. Now all those creative memories and milestones will be well documented.

Thanks Martha! Since the Mint stamps are so durable I wanted a stamp I knew I would get plenty of use out of.
