My AutoBlade does not cut through materials despite being on the correct blade depth setting. What can I do to fix this?

If your blade is not cutting through your material properly, please visit https://www.silhouetteamerica.com/faq/solution/test-cut-feature to make adjustments to your settings. Generally, you may need to raise the blade level by one or two for thicker or denser materials. Always perform a test cut prior to sending your job in order to make sure the adjusted settings are correct.

What happens if you overtighten the AutoBlade?

You may turn the white cap tip of the AutoBlade clockwise to tighten the the AutoBlade by inserting your finger nail in one of the two notches in the white cap and twisting in the appropriate direction. While the white cap should be secure, please refrain from over tightening the cap as this can crack the housing and prevent further proper blade adjustment.
