Thanksgiving is well over and the Christmas crafting rush has officially begun! Have you created gifts for family and friends yet? This round up will show you awesome holiday gift ideas you can make using your Silhouette CAMEO® and one of my favorite materials to craft with, Silhouette Heat Transfer material.

Here are 7 projects I will be creating for friends and family this year.

1. “Hey Y’all!” Kitchen Towel

Need to bring a gift to a holiday party? This easy decorative towel comes together literally in minutes and they’re a very inexpensive gift to make for a hostess, neighbor, or co-worker. Bundle it up with your favorite drink or even with baking or kitchen supplies and you’re all set.

2. “Make Pretty Things” Graphic Tee

This tee from Pitter and Glink is perfect for gifting to a fellow crafter or maker. (I really love the gold metallic heat transfer.) And, because everyone is not a crafter or a maker, you can definitely create something that would speak to your giftee.

There’s a ton of phrases and designs available on the Silhouette Design Store. You’ll surely find something appropriate to make and give!

3. Custom Heat Transfer Pillow

Another idea is to create a personalized pillow. This ‘I Love You’ pillow is a great gift to send to a loved one that’s far away to remind them of your affection. I’m creating one to give to my mom for Christmas—and again, there’s a lot of designs you can choose from to personalize your pillow gift.

4. DIY Cat Shoes

If you’re a reader of my blog, you know very well how obsessed I am with cats. (But it’s not just me—I swear, my husband’s whole family is obsessed with them!)

These cat shoes from Persia Lou are the perfect way to create something different and quirky. And hey, Persia Lou’s post even teaches you how to apply heat transfer material on shoes.

5. Embroidery Hoop Wall Hanging

This is the most versatile project of all I believe. We all like wall art, don’t we?

With this fun and easy project, you can create personalized wall art like this embroidery wall hoop hanging in minutes with just a few supplies. On top of that, it’s very boho and trendy! A+ in my book. 🙂

6. Foiled Canvas Bag

Of course, a reusable tote is always a good idea—especially if you’re trying to promote environmental friendliness. Again, there’s a ton of designs available on the Silhouette Design Store for you to personalize your own.

This tutorial for a foiled canvas bag shows you how to create your own tote and how to add a foil effect as well!

7. Floral Baby Onesie

I love the convenience of this project. If you’re not one for layering designs, or even if you just want a simple project, printable heat transfer material is the way to go. You can print different images, photos, and more. Cut them on your Silhouette, iron, and finish in no time!

No matter what you create, I am sure your giftees are going to love it! Now don’t dally, bust out your Silhouette CAMEO®, and get creating.

What are you planning to make this Christmas? Have you started yet?
