Artist Spotlight: Carta Bella and Echo Park

We are so excited to spotlight Carta Bella Paper Co. today on the blog. Carta Bella is a sister brand to the Echo Park Paper Company, who is based out of Provo, Utah.

They have been loyal Silhouette fans from the day Silhouette was first established! Their favorite machine, hands down, is the CAMEO, which they use almost daily in their offices as well as with their projects you can see on Instagram (@echoparkpaper), Facebook, and their blog (echoparkpaperblog.com).

They have a wide variety of designs, from layouts, cards, and 3D crafts. You can also use their designs for home decor, packaging, or any other project that needs precise cutting.

Echo Park and Carta Bella are unique in the personality that they bring to their designs. All of their art work is based on a paper collection and sold in local craft stores as well as online. You will find that their digital designs match their collections. Creating projects from both products are so fun.

Echo Park and Carta Bella brands joined the Silhouette artist team in March of 2011. They have a team of designers ranging in experience and backgrounds who help create their themes, and they each draw inspiration in different ways. Each designer has a set style and is given a pallet of colors to work with, and that helps keep a cohesive look and design. It’s amazing what they can come up with.

If you are just starting out as a designer, both Carta Bella and Echo Park have some advice for you. “Don’t quit! You have to start somewhere. The more you practice, the better you will be. You will quickly learn what your strengths are!” We love that advice. And they know what they are talking about. Between their two brands, they have 6,500 designs in the Silhouette Design Store. They definitely haven’t quit!

While 3D designs are the most popular designs, customers love the hearts, phrases, and flowers from Carta Bella and Echo Park. And they love seeing the creative ways Silhouette customers use their designs. Seeing designs come to life is part of why Carta Bella and Echo Park love doing what they do.
