The Cameo 4 is a desktop cutting machine for the modern maker. With a built-in roll feeder and crosscutter, the Cameo is the ultimate vinyl cutter, allowing you to cut directly from a roll. It also has increased speed and power over previous Silhouette machines, a 3 mm clearance to cut thicker materials, and Automatic Tool Detection. You can use it with vinyl as long as it is smooth and flat to allow the static charge to hold on to it. Rolled vinyl that wants to go back to its rolled shape will not necessarily work well, and it would need to be trimmed to fit the ES mat cutting area.
