The Silhouette Cameo® Plus has all the great perks of the Cameo 4, but it’s wider, so it has a bigger cutting footprint. It can accommodate rolls up to 15 inches wide, so you can create or cut bigger designs with ease! In addition to the machine’s larger size, it has the technology to increase your efficiency and help you work with materials you haven’t been able to work with before. The Cameo Plus can cut thicker materials, fabric without a stabilizer backing, and paper without a cutting mat.
The Cameo Plus is compatible with both Mac and Windows operating systems and utilizes Silhouette Studio®, the dynamic software behind any Silhouette cutting machine. And with access to the Silhouette Design Store, you’ll have access to over 150,000 designs!
The Silhouette Cameo® Plus is now available for sale! Below are all the details about the Cameo Plus. What larger-than-life projects will you create?
Larger Cutting Footprint
With a wider machine, you can cut wider materials. The Cameo Plus can accommodate rolled materials up to 15 inches wide, and with a bigger cutting footprint, makers can cut more designs at once or cut larger designs in one go.

Specialty Tool Utilization
With the release of the Cameo 4, there were also the releases for new Cameo 4 tools to unlock even more cutting potential. These new tools are all compatible with the Cameo Plus and can unlock the same cutting capabilities.
The dual-motor system of the Cameo Plus allows for increased power and speed, allowing you to cut more materials with new cutting tools (The Rotary Blade, the 3mm Kraft Blade, and the Punch Tool—sold separately).
Auto Tool Detection
Auto Tool Detect is a feature that all the Cameo Plus machines have, and it allows the Silhouette Studio® software to automatically detect what tools are inserted into your machine. This ensures you have the right cut settings every time.
Built-in Roll Feeder and Crosscutter

Having a roll feeder and crosscutter built in to your Cameo Plus makes cutting rolled materials really simple. The roll feeder slides out from a tray located on the bottom of the machine and folds out. It can hold 9-inch, 12-inch, and 15-inch rolls (with a maximum roll diameter of 3 inches). This allows you to cut straight from a roll, without a mat, without any length limitations!
The back of the machine houses the crosscutter. After you’ve cut your material, all you need to do is unlock the crosscutter and slide the crosscutter blade along the track of the crosscutter cartridge.
Pop-out Cut Mode
Just like with the Cameo 4, you can now cut materials like paper and cardstock without a cutting mat. With this feature, the Cameo Plus will make a cut but keep the material in place using perforation cuts in strategic places. Once the material is removed from the cutting machine, simply pop the cut design from the paper.
Storage Compartment
Store an extra blade in the handy storage compartment on the side of your machine. Simply slide it to the left, place your tool inside, and slide it back into place.

Adjustable Rollers
By adjusting the white rollers on the main roller shaft, the Cameo Plus can cut the following media sizes: A4, letter, 12 inches, 13 inches, and 15 inches. The spring rollers have been designed for a strong yet gentle way to hold project materials in place.
Bluetooth Connectivity
The Cameo Plus has a Bluetooth® adapter preinstalled and is Bluetooth® compatible. This means that your Cameo Plus can receive cut jobs via Bluetooth without a connection to a USB cord, so it allows for wireless communication.

Thanks

Hello Diana! The Cameo 4 plus can cut several types of materials! Some materials which have been tested with the Cameo® 4 are select cotton fabrics (without backing), denims, felts, wools, leathers, and acetate. Of course, the ability and success of the cut result are dependent upon thickness and density of the material.

When will more new tools be available for the dedicated holder?
Really anxious to know if I’ll be able to engrave or de/emboss with the Cameo 4 since it should now have the force to do so – but no tool to do it with?
Thank you!

I recently purchased the cameo 4 plus. I registered the machine, the serial number shows that it is attached to the first silhouette. when I look under my registered devices it doesn’t show at all.

Hi! I Would like to know if there’s any mat or will be one available later that would alow to cut fabric larger than 15×14 inches. I have the impression that that is the latgest mat for the 15″ cameo wich is kind of a counterpoint of having a wider capacity. I would appreciate the clarification. Thanks
