January 12: Why Silhouette?

There’s always one question we get from makers new to our machines: why Silhouette? This class will teach you the Silhouette basics, from choosing your first machine to navigating Silhouette Studio® and creating your first project. This is a monthly class, so don’t worry if you miss January’s session—we’ll leave the video recording here, and we’ll be teaching this course again in March!

January 19: Hanging Hearts (Premium Class)

In this premium class, Kelly will guide you through this paper hanging heart project from start to finish. You’ll learn some great software tips as you duplicate and organize the hearts to cut with your Silhouette machine. Then, cut and assemble the pieces of this pretty wall hanging. Kelly will use the Silhouette Cameo 4 in class, but you can do this project with a Portrait machine, as well. See you there!

January 26: Children’s Art Textile Projects

Turn hand drawn pictures into crafty keepsakes in this fun class! We’ll learn how to take existing images and turn them into custom cut files in Silhouette Studio®. This is perfect for turning children’s art into tote bags, shirts, keepsakes, and more.

Hello,
A question about the premium classes. If you purchase to attend a zoom class, do you have access to that class afterwards? For example if I can’t sit through the whole length of the class can I come back later on to re-watch it at a later date?

Hi Karen. Yes. With the premium classes, Michaels will email you a link later to watch the class recording. Those who register for the premium classes get access to the recording to watch again when it’s convenient.

I got this email on the 15th, but I’m interested in the Why Silhouette? class on the 12th. The email says the class is a video recording – can I see it whenever I want or do I have to wait til March for it? I want to start learning now!

Hello ! I’m so interested to learn more about my machine cameo pro but my English is not enough fluent… do you think that you would made a translation for French people by example or with subtitles possibilities?!
Thanks in advance for taking consideration for my question.

The Michaels classes show English subtitles when watching the live version with a mobile device. This may be a request you want to submit to Michaels directly. Thanks for your input!
